Following a mouthwatering offer from the Chinese Super League, Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has opened up on whether to remain, or move on,
An unnamed Chinese club, reportedly offered a whopping sum of €300 million, to lure Ronaldo to leave Real Madrid, for the Chinese League.
Recall, that in December 2016, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Agent, Jorge Mendes, had while reacting to the development, said his client rejected a mega deal from a Chinese club, which wanted to lure him out of Real Madrid, due to personal reasons.
The Ballon d’Or winner and 31-year-old Portuguese International, letting the cat out of the bag, claimed he was not motivated by the money the anonymous Chinese League side offered him.
“So this is important for me, to be the number 1, the most valued player. But this is not my motivation.
“My motivation is to play football, to be the best, and this is what I try to do. I’m looking to money only as a means to become comfortable and independent, after I finish football.
“I am not motivated by their money, because I am happy playing for Real Madrid,” Ronaldo said.
Jorge Mendes speaking further, explained that Cristiano Ronaldo’s 2016, was baptised with lots of achievements, both for Real Madrid, and the Portuguese National Team, and would not want to be distracted.
Meanwhile, the Chinese League, is presently looking at spreading its revolution in the game of football, by offering mouth watering sums of money in the recruitment of stars.
