200 Million Nigerians Get Set For War, As INEC, APC, Refuse To Let Atiku Go, Despite Court Order

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday, has urged the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, “not to plunge the nation into a monumental crisis”, by refusing to obey the Court of Appeal’s ruling, to release the materials used for the conduct of the February 23, Presidential election to it.

The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement, also said that INEC, by this alleged action, is blatantly standing in the way of justice, and working against the will of the people, in their quest to salvage the nation.

He also stated that the alleged action is against the pursuit of the PDP’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to reclaim his ‘stolen’ mandate at the Tribunal.

Ologbondiyan said: “The continued refusal of INEC to release the electoral materials to the PDP and our Legal Team, is completely provocative and shows that the Commission is working in cahoots with the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Muhammadu Buhari Presidency, to frustrate the PDP, Atiku, and majority of Nigerians, from retrieving our mandate at the Tribunal.”
