2015 Elections: A walkover for Jonathan – Asari Dokubo

Alhaji Asari Dokubo, leader of the Niger Delta Peoples’ Salvation and Volunteer Front (NDSVF), and former militant leader in Nigeria has said that the incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan will be re-elected at the 2015 presidential elections.

He made this pronouncement at the burial of his grandmother, Late Princess Preba Abigail Prince Ekineh at Buguma in Asari Toru Local Government Area, Rivers State.

He called the 2015 elections a ‘walkover’ stating that it would be impossible for the president to lose at the elections that would return him to power for a second term.

He said, “2015 Goodluck Jonathan will win, in whatever way they want him he will win. I am not afraid of anybody, my confidence is that he has already won, but in Rivers state I don’t know because there is injustice in Rivers state.”

He noted that the multi- ethnic composition in the state has made it difficult to predict the outcome of the polls in Rivers state but expressed confidence that Jonathan would be victorious at the polls.

He said that necessary steps have been put in place to produce a favorable outcome for the president in 2015.
