A weakling cannot even conceive what Jonathan has done – MON Coordinator

Mr. Candy Onwuraokoye, the South-West Coordinator of a non-government group, Move on Nigeria, MON, has debunked claims in some quarters that President Goodluck Jonathan is a weakling and the reason for the country’s suffering economy, noting that such allegations are aimed at belittling the President.

Mr. Onwuraokoye, with the Nigerian Tribune in Lagos said that some of the achievements of the President in the past few years would not have been conceivable if he had been the weakling his spoilers would lead individuals to believe.

He clarified that the choice of the gathering to relate to the President was informed by the need to disprove a few confusions about the president and his organization.

He included that the gathering would likewise give Nigerians a stage where they could influence arrangements being made by those in government and voice out how they ought to be governed.

The South West Coordinator, MON, said it is detrimental for a particular ethnic group to assume they are born to rule while, he charged the nation’s different ethnic groups to learn to coexist peacefully.

He referred to the APC’s call for change as phony; stressing that the APC missed the opportunity of being change agents by mingling with those it had earlier labeled corrupt politicians.

He stated, “I thought the APC would provide viable opposition in Nigeria that would drive the change we all want, but they blew the opportunity by mingling with those they had earlier called murderers and corrupt.”
