APC aspirants sabotage senatorial primary, call for votes to be burned

The Chairman of the Ekiti State All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly Primary Election Mary Ekpere condemned the actions supporters of two senatorial aspirants in the Sunday senatorial primary which was aimed at disrupting the party exercise as an act of sabotage.

She said the inability of the two aspirants to control their crowd is unacceptable, buttressing that it was aimed at undermining next year’s election and success of the party.

“The action of Tony Adeniyi and Remi Olorunleke were condemn-able. The entreaties not to frustrate the process fell on deaf ears.

They were adamant to frustrate the party’s chances.” she said.
