BREAKING: Kwara State On Fire, DSS Operatives ‘Take Over’ Bye-Election, As Groundbreaking Update Emerges

Emerging report indicates that as the voting process gets underway, in the Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin/Irepodun Federal Constituency bye-election, about 20 Operatives of the Department of State Security Services, DSS, in company of the Chairman of the Kwara State All Progressives Congress, APC, Stakeholders Forum, Yahaya Seriki, stormed the Oke-Ero residence of Engr. Dare Bankole, to arrest him.

Dare Bankole is the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the Ekiti/Oke-Ero/Isin/Irepodun Federal Constituency election, in 2019.

According to report, members of the community resisted the attempt of the DSS Officers to take him away, insisting that the action of the Security Officers is unjustifiable and illegal.

They also queried the presence of Yahaya Seriki, who hails from Ilorin East in their community, at a period when election is ongoing.

Reports also have it that the Kwara APC Stakeholders Forum Chairman, was earlier seen inducing voters with cash, at some Polling Units in Oke-Ero, Kwara State.

Although, Post-Nigeria was not able to independently verify the report as at the time of publication.
