Buhari’s FG Blocks Atiku’s ‘Biggest’ Source Of Income, Releases Damning Statement, Today

The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, through its Managing Director, Hadiza Bala Usman, has refuted claims that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration’s termination of the boats pilotage monitoring and supervision agreement with Atiku Abubakar’s Oil and Gas Logistics Company, Intels Nigeria Limited, was politically motivated.

The NPA Boss, Bala Usman, explained that the contract was terminated, following alleged failure of Intels (belonging to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar) to remit $145,849,309.33 into the account of the Federal Government.

She pointed out that the said sum was the outstanding service boat revenue, generated from November, 2017 to October, 2018.

In her explanation, Usman further said: “The policy is not politically motivated. When you start implementing policy, people take positions. The contract was terminated after the elections.”

Recall, that the NPA had terminated its boats pilotage monitoring and supervision agreement with Intels Nigeria Limited, after about two years of bickering by both parties.

Intels is a leading integrated logistics and facilities service provider, in the maritime and oil and gas logistics sectors of the economy.
