Fayose, Fayemi, Fight Dirty In Public, Over A Whopping N57 Billion Debt Allegation

The former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has responded to the allegation of N57 billion debt allegation raised against him by Governor Kayode Fayemi, saying that, the Governor was elected to do what he could not do when he was in Office.

Post-Nigeria could recall, that Fayemi had accused Fayose of leaving N57 billion unpaid workers’ salaries and pension arrears.

However, Fayose in his response to Governor Fayemi’s allegation through his Twitter handle said: “I read without surprise and as usual, Governor Kayode Fayemi’s usual brandishing of figures owed to Ekiti workers and retirees by my administration. Without joining issues with him, rather than public service announcement, I enjoin him to pay the workers. More so, he was “voted” for to do what I could not do.”
