GROUNDBREAKING!!! Buhari’s Presidency Spends A Whopping Sum Of N64 Million On A White Elephant Project, As Millions Of Nigerians Go Hungry Daily

Boss Mustapaha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, has unveiled the website of his office, www.osgf.gov.ng, which was upgraded at the cost of N64.8 million only.

This shocking revelation is coming at a time when millions of Nigerians can hardly eat two square-meals a day, due to unemployment, unpaid salaries, and economic downturn.

Speaking in his office, in Abuja, the SGF said that the N64 million was not only for upgrading the website, but for procurement of laptops, training of officials, and consultancy services.

He, however, did not mention the number of laptops procured.

“There was a contract in 2017. The figure in public domain. It is about N64 million including procurement of laptops, training, consultancy services.

“The contract was awarded by the Bureau of Public Procurement, in accordance with the Procurement Act”, he said.

Mustapha further harped on the need for a functional website for his office, saying it would inform the public about the policy thrust of the Buhari administration.

According to him, it was important to make information on government activities readily available to Nigerians and other stakeholders, because information drives investment and development worldwide.

The Secretary stated that the upgraded e-participation platform, is one of the key features of the new website.

Mr. Mustapha further noted that members of the public would be free to request for information from the Federal Government and lodge complaints.

He disclosed that such requests, ideas or complaints, would elicit a timely response from the government.

The SGF, however, said the critics of the website are not enemies of the administration, adding that, it was constructive criticism.

“When people criticise government, it is not that they hate government. They want government to do better, and for them to see improvement”, he said.
