Increase Of Petrol Pump Price From N145: Buhari’s Men Quickly Release Statement

The Buhari Media Organisation, BMO, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari’s sensitivity towards the economic well-being of Nigerians, by his refusal to increase the pump price of petroleum from the current N145 per litre, but rather striving to eliminate corruption and inefficiencies in the Oil and Gas sector.

“This is against the advice of inconsiderate Economic Experts, that keep harassing the Buhari administration to remove fuel subsidy, regardless of the untold suffering and economic hardship the measure will bring to ordinary Nigerians.”

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Niyi Akinsiju, and Secretary, Cassidy Madueke, the BMO said that the President has shown he is a true lover of the masses, and under his administration the interest of the ordinary Nigerians will be protected and defended.

The BMO, also hailed the President for reiterating his commitment to massive infrastructure development and rehabilitation of projects which suffered decades of under-investment under past administrations, which has led to the closure of factories and the poor state of infrastructure across the country.
“This is an indication that good times are ahead under President Buhari’s steady stewardship, and the administration will ensure the speedy and effective implementation of the new minimum wage, for the betterment of the welfare of the States’ employees across the three tiers of government.
