Minister Of Petroleum Resources, Muhammadu Buhari, Faces Immediate Sack Over Endless Fuel Scarcity

The Minister of Petroleum Resources, Muhammadu Buhari, who doubles as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has been called upon by suffering Nigerians for his immediate sack.

This followed the endless fuel scarcity that has hit some parts of the country, especially the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, and its environment.

The prolonged fuel scarcity has lingered all through the Christmas and New Year holidays, with the Federal Government seeming clueless over any solution to the economic menance, which has affected a lot of businesses, leading to great losses in profits and low productivity, including the increase in goods and services.

A cross-section of Nigerians reacting to the current fuel situation, have urged the President to resign his position as the Minister of Petroleum Resources, and leave the Ministry in very capable hands.

Reacting also to a recent call for the sack of the Junior Petroleum Minister, Ibe Kachikwu, and the Group Managing Director, GMD, of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, by a concerned group, some Nigerians condemned the move, insisting the Minister, President Buhari, should be the one to be sacked instead.
