N21.27bn Campaign Fund: TAN defends Jonathan

The N21.27Billion campaign funds raised by supporters of President Goodluck Jonathan for his re-election has been described by The Transformation Ambassadors of
Nigeria, TAN, as a sign of reverence for the President and judging from his very visible dedication and selfless service to affairs of the nation, the amount is undisputed.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Awka yesterday, TAN, announced that it is no surprise that the large supporters of a great leader gained such huge donation when he is well loved with esteemed popularity across the six geopolitical zones of the country.

TAN categorically claims to have crystal clear information and evidences on the immense fan base of the President enjoys across genders, age bracket, class, social and political divide.

“Going by our records, supporters of Mr. President if adequately sensitized and mobilised can donate much more than the said amount raised at Abuja for the presidential campaigns expenses.” TAN noted

The statement however gave gratitude to the donors and urged all Nigerians to support the re-election of Jonathan and make sure that they get the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to ensure that their votes count in the 2015 general elections.
