Nigeria 2015: INEC using Computer to Favour a Political Party – Kwankwaso

The governor of Kano State and presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso during his recent media chat with journalists went on the defensive and claimed that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) plans to manipulate the computer to help an undisclosed political party to win election.

“I want to advice INEC to be cautious, because somebody was telling me about suspected tricks of INEC using computer to help a particular party is 2015” he said.

Who was telling him though, he failed to mention, neither did he state the political party in his claim, to back it with.

The governor went further to say that the (APC) will keep its eyes open and make sure that every single vote counts next year.

This is not the first time that the APC has made such misleading statements, claiming a plot to rig an election by INEC.

During the build-up to the August 9 Osun State governorship election, the APC had alleged that there was a plan by the PDP to rig the elections.

In a statement issued in Lagos by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed before the election, the party claimed that president Goodluck Jonathan had reportedly told security agencies that he wanted victory for his party at all costs.
