Ogundamisi attacks Buhari over choice of Dambazzau as NSA

Following the widely spread speculation that the President-Elect, Muhammadu Buhari will make Lt. Gen. Abdurrahman Dambazau his National Security Adviser, a social activist Kayode Ogundamisi has called on him (Dambazau) to apologise to Nigerians over the role he played in subverting Goodluck Jonathan’s right to ascend the Presidency as required by the Nigerian constitution during the reign of the ‘’Turai Yar’adua cabal’’

Kayode who is a Buhari staunch supporter based in the United Kingdom, said this on Wednesday via his Facebook page.

Punch Newspaper had on 4th of April, reported that Lt. Gen. Abdurrahman Dambazzau was tipped to become Buhari’s National Security Adviser, NSA.

He insisted that, Lt.-Gen. Abdurrahman Dambazau who was a former Chief of Army Staff has been corrupted by the rule of “Turai Yar’adua cabal.”

He wrote; “Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau? You owe us an Explanation Sir.

“I can’t infuence @ThisisBuhari ‘s choice but Lieutenant General (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau should first apologise to Nigerians for the role he played in subverting Goodluck Jonathan ‘s right to ascend the Presidency as required by the Nigerian constitution during the reign of the Turai Yar’adua cabal.

“He only took orders from the Turai Yar’adua cabal. I am not saying he does not have a role to play in the new Nigeria but we need him to apologise and be sure he now understands the supremacy of the Nigerian constitution.

“If he could compromise the constitution of our country to serve the wife of late President Yar’Adua then we cannot trust him enough.
