Thugs hijack APC Headquarters, Oyegun, candidates missing

The All progressives Congress, APC, headquarters in Abuja has been overrun by thugs reportedly imported from the Kogi East Senatorial District as party members anticipate the final declaration of the party’s preferred candidate to substitute late Abubakar Audu.

Violence broke out immediately the thugs sighted Yahaya Bello who has been tipped as the preferred candidate over Audu’s running mate James Faleke and the son of the deceased former Governor, Mohammed Audu who the state’s east senatorial district already chose as their consensus candidate.

When POST NIGERIA contacted a staff at the APC secretariat who begged anonymity, he confirmed that the whereabouts of the Chairman, John Oyegun, Faleke and Bello remained unknown as they have all been whisked away following the crisis and protest.

Our source also confirmed that security operatives are currently battling to restore peace at the secretariat.
