WCW: Meet The Incredible Unoaku Anyadike, Nigeria’s Representative, Miss Universe 2017

The 65th edition of the Miss Universe competition is scheduled to take place on December 30, 2017, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines.

There are eight African beauty queens to watch out for this year and our very own, Unoaku Temitope Anyadike, will be flying Nigeria’s flag for the most coveted crown.

Anyadike, who was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in 2015, is a 22 year old graduate of Psychology, from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan.

Born into a middle-class family, to an Igbo father and a Yoruba mother, whom are educationists, in Osun State.

She also represented Nigeria at the Miss World 2015 pageant, held in China.

Currently, she is undergoing her compulsory National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, and she is an advocate of Endometriosis.

If she wins the title of Miss Universe, the current Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines, will crown her at the end of the event.

At least 88 beauty queens from around the world, would arrive the Philippines, between January 7th and January 13th.

The Miss Universe competition is aimed at empowering women to develop the confidence they need to achieve their personal best.

According to the organizers, the Miss Universe contest is more than a beauty pageant, women aspiring to become Miss Universe must be intelligent, well-mannered, and cultured.

Steve Harvey will return as host and model Ashley Graham, will serve as backstage host.
